As we step into the summer months of 2025, our family finds itself at the beginning of a big new chapter. We’ve made the heartfelt decision to relocate, and with this comes all the complexity that moving entails — from boxing up our current life to building routines in an unfamiliar space. While this move is full of excitement and possibility, it also brings some logistical challenges, especially when it comes to fulfilling orders and keeping our sashiko supplies flowing smoothly.
We want to share a transparent update about how this transition may affect our shipping operations over the next few months. Our goal is always to communicate clearly and keep you informed, so you can continue to enjoy your sashiko journey with as little disruption as possible.

📦 Shipping Through May 31, 2025: Business as Usual
Until the end of May, we plan to continue processing all incoming orders within 24 hours. Once an order is packed, we’ll deliver it to the local USPS facility on the next available business day — just as we’ve done in the past. We’re working hard to maintain this level of service through the final days of May, even as we start to shift into moving mode behind the scenes.
If you’re planning a project, a workshop, or a gift and need your supplies quickly, now is an ideal time to place your order while our normal operations are still in full swing.
🚚 Starting in June: A Temporary Adjustment to Our Fulfillment Timeline
Beginning in early June 2025, our shipping schedule will change for a brief period. As we begin the actual relocation process and set up our new home and studio space, we’ll need a bit more time to prepare each order. We currently anticipate that most packages will be processed within 4 to 5 business days and shipped approximately twice per week. This modified schedule will help us continue providing high-quality service while allowing room to manage the move thoughtfully and without unnecessary rush.
We’ll continue monitoring our progress and will post more specific updates on expected shipping days as they become clear. We appreciate your flexibility as we navigate this temporary phase.
